GSEV National Mobility Fellowship
The GSEV National Mobility Fellowship supports short-term research stays within Germany to foster methodological exchange, skill development, and collaboration in the extracellular vesicle (EV) field.
Funding
Up to €1,000 per fellowship to cover travel and subsistence for a short-term visit to a host laboratory in Germany.
Eligibility
Applicants must be GSEV junior members, including technicians, PhD candidates, and early-career postdoctoral researchers (up to 5 years post-PhD). Career breaks will be considered on an individual basis.
Both the home institution and the host laboratory must be located in Germany. The host principal investigator must be a GSEV member.
Application process
Send a single PDF file to info@gsev.org including:
- CV (including publication list)
- Motivation letter (max. 1 page)
- Project outline with a short work plan (max. 1 page)
- Letter of support from the host lab confirming its capacities for the visit
- Estimated travel costs
Successful applicants will be able to plan their travel immediately after the decision. The fellowship funds will be paid to the recipients’ bank account upon return and receipt of a completed expenses form (incl. receipts for travel and subsistence).
Post-Fellowship Requirements
- Present your GSEV Fellowship work at the next GSEV meeting.
- Submit a completed expenses form with receipts upon return.
- Write a short article about the stay for the society journal Trillium EV.

31 October 2026 and 31 March 2027
(in parallel to the MOVE Fellowship for international exchange)
Selection & Notification
All applications will be evaluated by the GSEV Board, which may consult additional independent reviewers as needed. Decisions will be communicated no later than 4 weeks after the application deadline.
