Aim and Scope
Trillium Extracellular Vesicles publishes high-quality research and review articles in the broad field of extracellular vesicles. This includes all aspects of extracellular vesicle biology, such as their role in cancer infection, inflammation and other dispositions; extracellular vesicles in physiological homeostasis; extracellular vesicle isolation and characterisation, including technical and methodological papers; extracellular vesicles from mammalian and non-mammalian sources, such as bacteria, fungi, and plants; extracellular vesicles for therapeutic applications, including drug delivery applications; extracellular vesicles in regenerative medicine, and clinical evaluations of extracellular vesicles.
Review process
Submitted manuscripts will undergo a scientific quality and suitability check by the editorial team. The handling editor decides which articles are sent out for peer-review. At least two independent reviewers who submit their comments to the editor and the authors will assess each manuscript. Authors will be given the opportunity to revise their papers and the editor will decide on the suitability to publish.
